Current 93 & Death in June - Fields of Rape

Fields of Rape has many versions, both by Death in June and Current 93. I've always wanted to make a comparison between them, which was the reason behind this compilation. Current 93 versions are more experimental, while Death in June are neofolk as you know and like. I've changed names of the songs, but not the tags, to reflect artist name and the album it was taken from, respectively. There are four songs by Current 93 and five by Death in June. My favourites would be Death in June's Nada! and Heilige! versions (second and seventh songs) and Current 93's Island (last song) version.

My Bloody Valentine Compilation

Main reason behind this compilation is that they haven't done it themselves. I've had some really hard time choosing and arranging wasn't easier as well. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't seperate the last three songs of Loveless, so I just left them the way they are. Hope this will be a compilation that will reflect whole lifetime of My Bloody Valentine.

Umarım bu derleme My Bloody Valentine'ın tüm yaşantısını yansıtabilir.

Neofolk, when you are drowning.

After one and a half year of music sharing, I too have decided to make a blog compilation. The first one will be of rather slow paced, sorrowful neofolk bands. Not all the songs are neofolk, actually, nor all the songs are full of misery and melancholy. I tried to make a compilation that shows different stages of unhappiness, therefore there is not a dominant sound.
